Ivanhoe Atlantic’s major shareholder is I-Pulse Inc, a US Company founded and chaired by Mr. Robert Friedland and has a number of high profile American institutional and private investors as shareholders.

Société des Mines de Fer de Guinée (SMFG), Ivanhoe Atlantic’s wholly owned subsidiary, is advancing our high-grade iron ore Kon Kweni Project in the Republic of Guinea.

Ivanhoe Liberia, Ivanhoe Atlantic’s wholly owned subsidiary is progressing other key projects across Liberia, including the St. John River asset and the Liberty Corridor.

Overview

Building a strategic portfolio of mining assets, Ivanhoe Atlantic commenced with a West Africa focus.

In Guinea, Ivanhoe Atlantic brings to life a project which offers one of the highest-grade undeveloped iron ore deposits in the world.

Ivanhoe Atlantic’s Kon Kweni Project Nimba is a world class foundational asset with a JORC Compliant resource of 750mt of direct ship ore with GRADE

With a ratified Mining Convention and mining permit in place Ivanhoe Atlantic is finalizing all approvals to commence construction in 2025.

As we continue to build our portfolio of projects, Ivanhoe Atlantic has recently acquired the St. John River licences in Liberia, previously owned by BHP. With an estimated 650mt of iron ore, Ivanhoe Atlantic is preparing exploration plans to unlock the potential of this asset.

In 2024, Ivanhoe Atlantic announced the creation of the Liberty Corridor, a multi-user infrastructure corridor linking Guinea and Liberia.

Bringing together a consortium of mining companies, international development finance institutions and infrastructure operators with the Government of Liberia to finance, build and operate this multi-user infrastructure corridor, Ivanhoe Atlantic will become the foundation customer.

Peter Pham

Chair

J. Peter Pham served as the first-ever U.S. Special Envoy for the Sahel Region of Africa with the personal rank of Ambassador from ‘20- ‘21. He previously served as the US Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region of Africa from ‘18- ’20.

Peter was previously vice president for research and regional initiatives at the Atlantic Council in Washington, DC, and director of the Council’s Africa Centre.

Before joining the Atlantic Council in 2011, he was senior vice president of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy in New York City, and editor of its bimonthly journal, American Foreign Policy Interests.

From 2008-2017, he also served as vice president of the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA), an academic organization which represents more than 1,300 scholars of Middle Eastern and African Studies at more than 300 colleges and universities in the United States and overseas and was founding editor-in-chief of ASMEA’s peer-reviewed quarterly Journal of the Middle East and Africa.

He is the author of several books and more than 300 articles, essays and reviews on African politics, security, and economic issues.

Peter served on the Senior Advisory Group of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) from ‘08- ‘13

Currently Peter is a Non-Executive Director of Africell Global Holdings and of Rainbow Rare Earths, a Strategic Advisor to dClimate as well as a Senior Advisor at Rose Lake Capital.
